Questions worth asking before you begin.
Is 2doria genealogy software?
Yes. 2doria lets you build a family tree and record relationships, dates and places. But it is designed to keep the life around the tree too: stories, photographs, memories, and what relatives know about each person. Instead of ending with a diagram of names and dates, it becomes a living family memory you can read, explore and preserve over time.
Can my family use it together?
Yes. Each 2doria has one owner, but relatives can contribute as often as you invite them. You can send private questions, one question at a time without giving access to the rest of your 2doria, and you can share the family website privately or publicly when you choose. A spouse or relative can also have their own 2doria, with overlapping people but different branches, stories, photographs and emphasis.
Is my family information private?
Yes. Your 2doria is private and login-protected by default. The family website is visible only to you until you deliberately share it. Private links can be replaced or turned off, and private shared pages are marked not to be indexed by search engines. Public sharing only happens when you choose it. 2doria does not sell family information or use it for advertising. Your connection uses HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, and routine account administration does not require opening your family data.
Where is my data stored?
2doria's primary database is hosted by Render in Singapore. Your family information is private by default, and you can download your data or request its deletion. We do not sell your family information or use it for advertising.
Can I share my family website publicly?
Yes. 2doria can turn what you preserve — people, relationships, stories, photographs and places — into a family website for reading and exploring. You decide whether it stays visible only to you, is shared through a private link with people you choose, or is public on the web. Anyone who receives a private link can read it, and you can replace or disable that link later. A public site may be indexed by search engines.
Does 2doria use AI to write or change my family’s memories?
No. 2doria is AI-free. It does not use AI to generate, rewrite, embellish or alter your family’s stories or memories. The questions you see are editorial, not AI-generated, and your stories and memories remain what you and the relatives you invite actually write and add.
Who makes 2doria?
2doria is a Pepero product, built between Madagascar and Poland. Pepero is a small independent software atelier creating durable software and interactive experiences around permanent human needs. Pepero is run by Mose Njo, a writer, artist and independent product builder. What happens to my data if I leave?
Your family memory stays there. If your subscription ends, you can still sign in and see everything you preserved in read-only mode, and you can download a complete family-memory package. Resume 2doria at any time and you can continue adding and editing from where you left off. If you want to leave permanently, you can request account deletion.
